Choose discretion without sacrificing access
Look for a firm, level location that is easy to reach from the main gathering area but not directly beside dining, photos, entertainment, or the property entrance. Avoid soft lawn, steep slopes, narrow gates, and areas where catering staff or guests will need to cross one another.
Make guest needs part of the design
Estimate who will attend, how long guests will stay, and whether children, older adults, or guests with mobility needs will be present. Discuss an ADA-accessible unit early so the route and placement can be planned together. A handwashing station near the restroom area is a polished, practical addition for food-centered celebrations.
Coordinate with the property and vendors
Private property may still have rules from a venue, neighborhood association, owner, or event coordinator. Confirm the delivery path, gate width, overhead clearance, parking restrictions, and the surface that will receive the unit.
